About Closing Arguments

With November fast approaching, candidates and leaders throughout Colorado are presenting their ideas to make our state even better, and we want to be sure they have the best resources and solutions on major policy issues.

Closing Arguments events feature many of the scholars and policy experts who contributed to the briefs on our website ColoradoPolicy.org with deeper background and discussion on both the substance of policy and the best way to present solutions to Coloradans.

The 2018 Closing Arguments series included five conference calls and two in-person events — each focusing on issues important to different regions of Colorado.

While these events have now concluded, PTM continues to connect leaders with thoughtful insights and solutions on issues important to Colorado. Please visit our Issues page or contact us to arrange a briefing or connect with a scholar.

Why are we doing this?

Principles That Matter is committed to advancing the principles of a free market, limited government, and individual liberty through research and education on public policy issues. We are singularly focused on reaching disengaged, moderate citizens and introducing them to effective public policy perspectives and solutions based on principles of the American founding.
